1. New Berlin
The first track on the album conceived after hearing how East Berliners watched the new city rising over the Wall in the west. The imposing new buildings and cityscape only served to increase the feeling of isolation and desperation in the young post war Berliners.
2. Ghost Station
The title track was made after travels on the Berlin metro. It’s a fascinating fact that all of the underground stations in East Berlin were closed during the cold war. But in order to reach some destinations in West Berlin, trains had to go through the closed and darkened “Ghost Stations” on the east side of the city. The first people to enter the ghost stations after the fall of the Wall in 1989 found adverts and posters still on the walls from 1961.

4. Fast Walker
"Fastwalker is a code word created by NORAD (North American Air Defense Command) to classify (UFOs) unidentified flying objects which approach our Earth from space and enter our atmosphere. It has been reported that from its subterranean facility deep inside Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado, USA, the Air Force NORAD facility tracks a rough average of 500 of these Fastwalkers each year."
